Wounded Wear was created by Jason Redman, a wounded Navy SEAL to promote awareness throughout the country of the sacrifices made by America’s wounded, their families, and the families of our fallen service members. Jason was seriously wounded in a firefight in Iraq in 2007. He sustained a gunshot wound to his face and two rounds to his left elbow. Despite his severe injuries and disfigurement, he refused to allow his injuries to bring him down and has been on a mission since that day to always stay positive and bring those around him up.
That mission was fully captured in a sign he hung on his hospital door at the beginning of his journey. He has taken that sign along with his positive attitude and used it to inspire friends, family, and people from all across this nation, including being invited to meet our 43rd President, George W. Bush at the White House.
That mission inspired him to create Wounded Wear.
